COVID 19

and our commitment to those we support

At Clay Tree Society we are committed to ensuring the health and safety of our team, those we support and our community.

Clay Tree and COVID 19

With the increase in social interactions in our communities, you may be concerned about public exposures and wondering what we at Clay Tree are doing about it.

For the time being we are requiring everyone who works, attends, or visits Clay Tree to wear a mask.  Those with development disabilities have been exempt from wearing a mask, however, we highly encourage everyone to wear one when possible. There are many people that attend Clay Tree who are vulnerable, and our goal is to have everyone feel safe.  For the effectiveness of masks, you will find more information here.

We encourage participants and staff to stay at home while they are showing any symptoms of communicable diseases.  We have asked all our participants, staff, and visitors to follow the guidelines laid out by the Government of British Columbia for Covid testing and self-isolation.  For more information, please go to the Government of British Columbia Health Link website or call 8-1-1.

We are looking forward to a time when we see everyone’s beautiful smiling faces!
