Giving back to your community.

The work of volunteers with Clay Tree Society is highly valued.  Our agency follows the Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement ensuring the best use of volunteer time and energy for the greatest benefit to persons served.

All volunteers will be formally screened and placed within The Society in accordance with Policy and Procedure guidelines.  Interested volunteers will be given an information package outlining the criteria to becoming a volunteer, as well as receive the necessary forms to be completed.  Once this information has been received, an appointment will be made to meet with a member of management.

Volunteers will be given the opportunity to discuss his/her qualities and share what talents he/she may have to enhance the lives of persons served.  All volunteers will be required to comply with Criminal Record Search Procedures and a T.B. Test with negative results.  Volunteers will also be required to sign a Code of Ethics and Volunteer Confidentiality Agreement.
